case
Very slender, dark brown, tubular, composite leaf case. The frontal part is somehwat hairy, otherwise the case is bare. Mouth angle 45°. The case (and the adult) strongly resemble that of C. albitarsella.
Contrary to C. pennella, living on the same host plants, mines are made all over the leaf.
