Yel,low brown tubular silke case, with fine length lines. The case is tri-valved, 10-12 mm long and has a mouth angle of c. 45°


Asteraceae, narrowly monophagous

Artemisia campestris & subsp. maritima.

References to A. alba and caerulescens subsp. gallica derive from confusion with other species, in particular C. thurneri (Baldizzone, 1992a).


Larvae from September till May (Hering, 1957a).
