Vulcaniella rosmarinella (Walsingham, 1891)
Upper-surface inflated blotch, its inner wall lined with silk. The larva moves a few times to a new leaf, that is penetrated from below. Out of the opening protrudes the frass that is ejected from the mine. Pupation within the mine.
Larvae in May – June (Hering, 1957a).
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
