Small, irregular, full depth mine with a clear amount of frass. The larva soon leaves the mine and continues feeding in a tubular rolled leaf (Harper, Langmaid & Emmet, 2002a).

Larva green with darker length lines. Head and prothoracal plate shining black. First pair of thoracic feet black, next two pairs green.
