Small, irregular full depth mine. The larva soon leaves the mine and continues feeding among spun leaves (Harper, Langmaid & Emmet, 2002a).

Larva green with darker length lines; head brownish black; prothoracic shield brown, bordered with black; thoracic feet green, pinacula black. See also Fetz.
