White, not much inflated, elongate mine in the top region of the leaf; the mine almost always runs upwards. Frass irregularly scattered. Pupation external.

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2010).

Described by Schütze (1931a) and Steuer (1978a). Dirty yellow, with a pair of grey dorsal lenght lines; head and pronotum yellowish.
