Larvae in a slight web between the leaves and in the inflorescence.

host plants

Boraginaceae, oligophagous

Echium gaditanum, plantagineum, parviflorum, vulgare; Lithospermum officinale; Onosma pseudoarenaria.

Also mentioned in the literature from Anchusa; Cynoglossum officinale; Symphytum. Because no recent field observations on these plants seem to exist, these relationships are doubted on Lepiforum; also Friese has its reservations.


Bivoltine; hibernation as pupa.
