Hering (1957a) remarks that the two hostplants mentioned taxonomically are so widely separated that it is improbable that the same miner occurs in both species.
phenology
Larvae in March – April, but Huemer & Karsholt (2010a) have indications for a second, later, generation.

Southern France, Spain, Serbia (Fauna Europaea, 2010).
