Scrobipalpa voltinella (Chrétien, 1898)
Large blotch in the basal leaves; frass massed in the oldest part of the mine. Pupation external.
Hering (1957a) remarks that the two hostplants mentioned taxonomically are so widely separated that it is improbable that the same miner occurs in both species.
Larvae in March – April, but Huemer & Karsholt (2010a) have indications for a second, later, generation.
