Metzneria metzneriella (Stainton, 1851)
From September till November the larva lives in the flower head, feeding on the developing achens. It then hibernates in a light brown cocoon, spun at the base of the flower head. No gall induction seems to take place.
Centaurea nigra; Serratula tinctoria.
