Elongated, slightly puckered, full depth blotch, without an initial corridor; all frass concentrated in the lowest part of the mine. Larvae leave their mine and restart elsewehere. Pupation outside the mine.

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
