The larva completely mines several leaves that haven been spun together. Frass grains are trapped in the spinning. Pupation external.

Caryophyllaceae, monophagous

Polycarpaea nivea.

Larvae were also found on P. tenuis, but no mines were made there.

Larvae from January till March.

Canary Islands (Fauna Europaea, 2010).
