Apterona gracilis (Ad. Speyer, 1886)
Fleck mine; hole not precisely round, margin without a fringe of stubbles of bitten silk. (Contary to Coleophora species, Apterona‘s do not secure their case by fixing it with silk during feeding episodes.) Larva in a helicoidal case; convolutions very shallow.
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
distribution within Europe
Spain (Fauna Europaea, 2009); recorded by Maček (1999a) from Slovenia, but that seems improbable.
