Until the revision by Huemer & Tarmann a number of different Kesseria species went under the name zimmermanni. In particular the description by Burmann (1956a) of “Swammerdammia zimmermanni” refers to a different species, viz., K. burmanni Huemer & Tarmann, 1991.
