details of feet and anal valves (ventral view)

proleg of abd-3 and anal valves (©s of a dead, dried larva from southern England). The margin of the anal valves seem double, because the larva was about to moult.

Mining larve orange yellow; head, prothoracic and anal plate brown. Setae remarkably short. Integument not smooth, but covered by spinulation. The mine and larvae are described in detail by Trägårdh (1911a).
