Egg generally at the upperside of the leaf. The mine begins as a narrow, much contorted, corridor that abruptly widens into a large blotch against the leaf margin.

Larvae were collected in early March; probably univoltine.

Greece (Samos), Cyprus, southern Turkey.

larva

Whitish; head and prothorac plate brown; ventral ganglia conspicuous; no ventral plates.
