Egg at the upper side of the leaf. The mine is a sinuous or contorted, gradually widening gallery, often following a vein for some distance, filled with brown or black frass. Pupation external.

Probably univoltine: larvae were observed in January and February.

Spain.

Whitish; no ventral plates.

notes

The mines cannot be distinguished from those of E. haraldi and E. ilicis.
