Possibly also other Fraxinus spp. A remote possibility exists that the species rather lives on Acer monspessulanum.
Cocoons were collected in April.
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2012).

A considerable number of cocoons was found on trunks of Fraxinus ornus; at some distance also Acer monspessulanum was growing.
