Egg at leaf underside. Tortuous, full depth corridor that only little widens towards the end. Frass in a central line, so much that it almost fills the corridor. Pupation outside the mine.

Anacardiaceae, oligophagous
Cotinus coggygria; Pistacia atlantica, khinjuk, lentiscus, terebinthus, vera; Rhus coriaria.
The status as a host plant of P. lentiscus is somewhat doubted by van Nieukerken, A & Z Laštůvka (2006a).
phenology
Larvae in March – May, and in September (Hering, 1957a).

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
