Oviposition on the upper surface of the leaf, mostly near the base of the leaf. From here a conspicuous, gradually widening corridor that generally follows the leaf margin for most of its length. Frass in a blackisch central line. Pupation outside the mine.

Mines from mid-September till early October Johansson ao, 1990a).

BENELUX

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
