Hyaloperonospora drabae

Hyaloperonospora drabae (Gäumann) Choi, Shin & Voglmayer, 2011

on Draba

gall

leaves with pales spots. Underside with a dense white down, consisting of erect conidiophores that apically several times are branching, each branch ending in a conidium.

host plants

Brassicaceae, monophagous

Draba muralis, nemorosa.

synonyms

Peronospora drabae Gäumann, 1918.

notes

On Draba nemoralis both H. norvegica and H. drabae may occur, wich is unusual for the generally narrowly monophagous Peronosporaceae. They usually differ clearly: drabae forms a dens felty down, in norvegica the conidiophores are diffusely scattered.
