In the material depicted above the conidia measured 3-4.5 x 30-51 µm and were 1-3-septate.

synonyms

Several Septoria‘s have been described from Rumex. Presently it is unknown if they represent a complex of species or just one variable species. Based on the onbserved conidia-sized the material depicted is identified as acetosae. Septoria rumicis Trail, 1889; S. rumicum Saccardo & Paoletti, 1889; S. rumicis Ellis nec Trail, 1893; S. rumicis-papillaris Caballero, 1928.
