Mycelium amphigenous, white, forming dense patches; appressoria lobate. Conidia solitary, ± 19 x 28 µm, on a straight, 45 µm long conidiophore. Cleistothecia 80-100 µm; ± 10 appendages, these stiff, 0.5-1.5 x diameter, distally repeatedly branched. Asci 3-5 with 6-8 spores.
