mycelium amphigous, thin, effuse. Appressoria ± lobed. Conidia solitary, without fibrosin bodies, elliptic. Foot-cell of conidiophore cylindric. Cleistothecia with 4-10 asci, containing 3-6 spores. Appendages 7-30, equatorial, most of them 1.5-2.5 the diameter; they are stiff, 0-3 septate; apically several times bifurcating in quick sucession.
