mycelium amphigenous, effuse, persistent. Appressoria lobed, single. Conidia solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Foot-cell of conidiophore straight or curved-sinuous. Cleistothecia with 5-10 asci, containing 4-6 spores. Appendages 4-20, inserted on the equator or somewhat above, 6-12 x the diameter; they are hyaline, aseptate, flexuous; unbranched but the very tip is 3 – 4 x dichotomously bifurcated in quick succession.
