mycelium amphigenous, mainly epiphyllous, effuse, almost persistent. Appressoria lobed to multilobled, single or paired. Conidia formed solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Foot cell of conidiophore curved at the base. Cleistothecia with 3-7 asci, containing 4-5 spores. Appendages 8-26, equatorial, 1-1.5 x the diameter; they are stiff, sharply bent in the distal half, hyaline, aseptate (or 1 basal septum); apex not enlarged, tightly circinate.
