mycelium amphigenous, mainly hypophyllous, evanescent. Conidia not described, probably formed solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia 80-140 µm with 3-6 asci, containing 4-8 spores. Appendages 8-12, equatorial, about as long as the diameter; they are stiff and straight, unbranched, hyaline or brown at the base, 0-1 septate; apically they are c. 3 times irregularly forked.
