mycelium amphigenous, effuse. Conidia in short chains, without fibrosin bodies. Appressoria nipple-shaped. cleistothecia: appendages in varying number, resembling ordinary hyphae, hyaline ar very light brown, (much) shorter than the cleistothecial diameter. Up to 20 asci per cleistothecium, with generally 2 spores.
