Golovinomyces cynoglossi (Wallroth) Heluta, 1988
mycelium conspicuous, white, amphigenous, generally persistent. Conidia in chains, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Conidiophores up to 250 mm, basal septum usually 5–25 mm above the junction with the mother cell. Conidia 15-20 x 25–40, length/width ratio 1.4–2.0. Cleistothecia with 5-20 asci that generally contain 2 spores. Appendages numerous, attached on and below the equator. They are up to 2 x as long as the diameter, flaccid, pale to medium brown throughout or paler towards the tip, septate, generally unbranched.
