mycelium amphigenous. Conidia in short chains, without fibrosin bodies. Appressoria nipple-shaped, single. Cleistothecia with 5-16 asci, containing 2(-3) spores. Appendages few to numerous, attached on and below the equator, 0.3-1.5 x the diameter; they are mycelioid, not or little branched, septate, entirely brown.
