mycelium white, generally dense, hypophyllous; partly internal. Conidiophores partly emerge through the stomata. The first conidium formed is obtuse-lanceolate, later ones are oblong-elliptic. Cleistothecia contain 15-30 asci, that have two spores. Appendages numerous, sub-equatorial, shorter than the diameter, mycelioid, partly irregularly branched.
