gall

mycelium amphigenous, thin, white to greyish white. Appressoria poorly developed to nipple-shaped, solitary. Conidia oval, formed in chains, with fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with a single ascus, containing 6-8 spores. Appendages 6-12, equatorial or somewhat above, 1-3 x the diameter; they are stiffly bent, brown, 2-3 septate; at the very tip they are several times dichotomously branching in quick succession.
