gall

mycelium amphigenous, often also on stems an then forming a persistent white film. Conidia formed in chains, with fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia (rarely present) with a single ascus, containing usually eight spores. Appendages fairly numerous, originating at the basal half of the cleistothecium, 1-5 x the diameter, mycelioïd, flaccid, septate, mostly unbranched.
