mycelium amphigenous, thin. Conidia rarely produced, with fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia mainly hypophyllous, with a single ascus, containing (6-) 8 spores. Appendages up to 10, sub-equatorial, not longer than the diameter; they are mycelioid, mainly simple, septate, brown.
