mycelium hypophyllous, effuse, white; also on the pods, that may become severely disfigured. Appressoria lobed, mostly solitary. Conidia solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Foot-cell of the conidiophore straight or curved at the base, 15-50 µm. Cleistothecia unknown.
