mycelium amphigenous, also on the stems and in the inflorescence. Appressoria numerous, from nipple-shaped tot multilobed, often paired, not rarely in sequences. Conidia solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Conidiophores amphigenous. Foot-cell of the conidiophore straight or somewhat curved. Cleistothecia unknown.
