Pseudoidium pedaliacearum (Shin) Shin, 2012
on ? Ibicella, Sesamen
gall
mycelium amphigenous, greyish white, thin, effuse. Appressoria more or less strongly lobed, single or paired. Conidia solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Conidiophore comparatively short. Cleistothecia unknown.
hostplants
? Martyniaceae, Pedaliaceae
? Ibicella lutea; Sesamum indicum.
notes
The species is described on the basis of material from sesamen (Pedaliaceae). Ibicella belongs to another family in the Lamiales (viz., Martyniaceae), and therefore it is questionable whether the fungus on that plant really can be P. pedaliacearum.
