Only uredinia are known. They are hypophyllous, up to 1 mm in diameter, soon naked and then pulverulent, pale yellow (herbarium material). Spores 22-27 x 26-36 ┬Ám, densely verrucose.

notes

eastern Mediterranean species. Nothing is known as yet about a possible relationship with the western Mediterranean Coleosporium jasoniae.
