uredinia amphigenous, on yellow leaf spots, up to 1.5 mm, orange yellow. Throughout the uredinium stand distinctly capitate paraphyses. Urediniospores short-, 9-19 x 12-5 µm, oval, entirely spinulose. Telia up to 1 mm, often in groups, brown, dark subepidermal; teliospores columnar.
