uredinia bright yellow, hypophyllous, pulvinate, on yellowed leaf spots. Between the spores thin paraphyses with an even wall-thickness, and a well-differentiated head. Spores ø 14-18 µm, wall thickness 3-4 µm. Telia usually hypophyllous, subepidermal, brownish.
