Uredinia hypophyllous, 0.3 mm, often very numerous, except by a central opening covered by the epidermis; around the spores a circle of filiform, thin-walled evanescent paraphyses; urediniospores with 2-4 germination pores. Telia originate from the uredinia, spores in chains of 3-7; they are found only rarely.
