Uredinia mostly hypophyllous, numerous, light brown, les than a mm. Urediniospores verruculose, with ± 4 randomly distributed pores. Telia hypophyllous, numerous, small but often confluent, covered by the epidermis, without paraphyses. Teliospores 2-celled, ± oval, hardly constricted; wall thin, except at the tip, smooth. Pedicel hyaline, short.
