Puccinia altensis Lindroth, 1901
No host plant alternation, no uredinia. Aecia hypophyllous, yellowish, deeply sunken in the host tissue, usually opening slit-like, peridium poorly developed. Telia dark brown, up to 1 mm. Teliospores two-celled, elliptic, almost smooth; pedicel hyaline, fragile, short.
Surprisingly, neither the plant nor the rust are mentioned in the otherwise over-complete book by Gäumann (1959).
Brandenburger (1985a), Buhr (1964b), Klenke & Scholler (2015a), Lindroth (1902).
