Puccinia amphispora Scholler, 2015
Fungi, Basidiomycota. Pucciniomycetes, Pucciniales, Pucciniaceae
no host alternation, only hypophyllous uredinia, up to 0.5 mm, often on discoloured leaf spots. In early summer they are light brown; but in autumn times dark brown uredinia appear (with a strong resemblance o telia). The spores have (2)3(4) more or less equatorial pores. The spring spores measure 5-19 x 17-27 µm, the autumn ones 14-23 x 23-45; the latter also have a thickened wall, apically up to 6 µm. In autumn a small number of teliospores is formed in the uredinia; they are two-celled, elliptic, measure ± 16 x 38 µm; the hyaline pedicel is about as long as the spore.
