No host plant alternation, uredinia and telia. Uredinia brownish, small, pulverulent, amphigenous, sometimes on yellow sots visible at both sides; spores 20-24 x 20-27 µm with 3 germination pores. Telia similar but blackish; spores 20-26 x 30-40, coarsely verrucose; pedicel very short, hyaline.
