no host plant alternation, uredinia en telia. Uredinia tiny, yellowish brown,ultimately also forming teliospores. Urediniospores finely spinulose, with 4-6 conspicuous germination pores. Telia less than a mm, blackish brown, dispersed all over the plant. Teliospores 2-celled, smooth, wall apically thickened; pedicel ± hyaline, up to 55 µm, persistent.
