no host alternation, uredinia and telia. Uredinia amphigenous, pale yellow, long covered by the epidermis, ultimately pulverulent, often containing tubular paraphyses. Urediniospores 18-24 x 23-34 µm with 4 equatorial germination pores; wall apically more or less thickened. Telia amphigenous, mostly in rows, pulverulent, chestnut brown. Teliospores 2-celled, almost globular to elliptic, 19-26 x 30-45 µm; pedicel 80-125 µm, persistent, hyaline to yellowish.
