spermogonia amphigenous, fresh honey-coloured. Aecia amphigenous, often in a circle around the spermogonia; young they are pustular, later dish-shaped with a differentiated margin.
Asparagaceae, narrowly monophagous
uredinia and epihpyllous, 0.5 mm large, golden yellow, pulverulent; urediniospores with 5-7 pores. Telia hypophyllous, on redddish or yellowish spots, tp to 2 mm large, brown to black, ong covered by the epidermis, without paraphyses. Teliospores 2-celled, wall smooth, thin, of uniform thickness but with a few longitudinal ridges; pedicel short, brown.
