Telia hypophyllous, on redddish or yellowish spots, tp to 2 mm large, brown to black, ong covered by the epidermis, without paraphyses. Teliospores 2-celled, wall smooth, thin, of uniform thickness but with a few longitudinal ridges; pedicel short, brown.
