No host plant alternation, only telia. pustular, compact, brown, mainly hypophyllous in small groups on leaf spots. Spores 2-celled, ob-clavate, 14-25 x 38-75 µm; wall smooth; pedicel hyaline, thick, persistent, up to 43 µm.
