No host plant alternation, only telia. Telia up to 2 mm ø, mainly hypophyllous, pulverulent, blackish brown, on yellow spots. Spores globular, consisting of two cells; their walls are thick, verruculose. Pedicel as long as the spore, deciduous, hyaline.
