Uredinia and telia amphigenous, light brown and dark brown, respectively. Urediniospores 18-19 x 20-32 µm with 5 pores. Teliospores one-celled with some low, vertical, now and then anastomosing ridges; apically a small, well delimited papilla; pedicel up to 40 µm, hyaline, deciduous.
